This may be the shortest blog ever. Just had to post a pic of our first trout of the year from our first fishing trip of the year. Kind of embarrassed about that ... we need to figure out how to fish more often. Still, we caught this spec, and another eight just like it, to make a delicious dinner at Reel Serenity. We used only artificial baits (Vudu Shrimp and small swim baits) around the oil rigs about three miles off the shores of Mobile Bay. I love the smell of fish on my hands ... and can't wait to get another whiff in the coming months
